Productions

STORIES OF US is a unique series of education resources designed to support students with a range of issues. The internationally acclaimed Stories of Us approach centres on films and plays developed in collaboration with students, educators and parents.

	Primary and Secondary: Students collaborated in brainstorming subjects including bullying, relationships and belonging. They developed the scripts and performed all key roles in the resource films, holding a mirror to their reality with such authenticity that some students watching them are convinced they are real. As a result the resources have proven uncommonly effective in the classroom.

	Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander: Currently in production, the Stories of Us PaCE Program is a large scale initiative designed to enhance the capacity of indigenous families and communities to engage with schools and education providers in supporting their children's education.

	International: The Australian series has proven so successful that leading international scholars are assisting Readymade Productions in remaking the Stories of Us bullying prevention program for students in the USA, Canada and the UK. The first series of the US program is now in general release in North America.

THE METHOD OF SHARED CONCERN is a staff group training resource for dealing with bullying in schools. Dr Ken Rigby interprets this internationally recognised Method originated by Swedish psychologist Dr Anatol Pikas. SPLIT SECOND is a dramatised video and CD-ROM designed to help educate children aged nine to thirteen about road safety. Split Second was produced by Readymade Productions for Transport SA and the South Australian Film Corporation, and is being distributed to primary schools Australia-wide. >More

A TANGLE IN STONE is a television-hour documentary exploring the complex relationships between Jews and Arabs in the Old City of Jerusalem. >More

THE JASON CYCLE (aka Ending Offending) is a short film designed to help reduce repeat offending with alcohol-related crime. An ATOM Award Finalist, the film was jointly funded by the Drug & Alcohol Services Council, the WA Ministry for Justice and the South Australian Film Corporation. >More

THE BUTTERFLY DREAM is a feature film-in-development based on a 93 minute digital video production, working title 4Play. >More

IN THIS WORLD combines dance and narrative in a short film about grief and love. A collaboration with composer Stephen Matters and dancer/choreographer Alison Currie. >More

SPECTRAL SANDS. A documentary about a series of works by internationally acclaimed German artist Nicholas Lang.
